We take care of it all.

We identify your property, contact you to discuss your claim and the fee for our service (Never any out-of-pocket costs).

Agreement

If you decide to work with us, you then sign an Investigator Agreement (provided by the State Controller’s Office) allowing us to act in your behalf in the retrieval of your property.

Gather Info

We gather information from you, required by the State Controller’s Office, to submit the claim (please be advised that some of this is sensitive information).

Claim Package

We prepare and submit the Claim Package and all documents required.

Tracking

We calendar and track the processing period.

Follow-Up

We respond to any additional request for documentation from the SCO.

Follow Through

We complete the task until you have received funds (unless the SCO denies the claim).

Receive Funds

You will receive a check directly from the State Controller’s Office.

Services Payment

Our fee for service is sent directly from the State Controller’s Office. You never have to submit a payment for our services.

Can I file a claim myself?

Yes, anyone can file a claim to retrieve their unclaimed property. We assist when individuals do not want to or do not have the time to traverse the claim process.

How long does the process take to complete?

The State Controller’s Office gives no set time-frame, they will consider the claim within  180-days (6 months) of receipt of all documents required to substantiate the claim. Many cases have been completed in 3-4 months, but there are no guarantees on the timeline. Patience is required.
